Coach Robbi is a seasoned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and professional educator. With his passion ignited at the age of 17, he dove headfirst into the intricate world of grappling, drawn not only to its physical demands but also captivated by the cognitive challenges it presents. As a dedicated parent of three, he understands the importance of balance in life, aiming to weave his roles as an educator, mentor, and family person with grace and determination.
Outside of BJJ, Coach Robbi is a respected teacher in our community, with experience in both classroom and sports environments, and holds a PhD in education. His diverse background brings a unique perspective to coaching, allowing him to adapt seamlessly to help each individual student grow, on and off the mats.

Under the umbrella of the legendary Master Leo Dalla's Big Brother affiliation, Coach Robbi is proud to have had many mentors, including Dave "Fluffy" Reeves, Jeremy "Flanders" West, Ron Hicks, and Bill "The Wizard" Nagle. His journey ultimately awarded him a black belt under the expert tutelage of Scott Salb, who mentored Coach Robbi as a friend, educator, and business partner at Centreville Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
